Tuesday we had the opportunity to take a tour of IPPUC, and learn of the general planning overview in Curitiba.
Today, we took a tour of URBS, where we learned in depth about Curitiba's transit system, and we also got bus passes for the duration of our stay.
Tomorrow we will head out to visit the housing authority, and we have a full day ahead of us.
Lastly, there are some of us planning side trips on the following dates. Please let me know what trips you are interested in participating, so I can work with the travel agent on this.
The trips are:
25-27 May 2007 - Foz do Iguazu (Puerto Iguazu)
31 May -3 June 2007 - Rio de Janiero, Brasil (could change to June 14-17 if demand is there)
6-10 June 2007 - Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay
